Sensory Morning at The Broad is a free ticketed event that provides early access to the third-floor collections galleries to visitors who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience. The Broad strives to be an inclusive and accessible space that welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Reservations are required as space is limited.
During Sensory Morning in Oculus Hall, you'll have the opportunity to participate in an art activity inspired by Broad collection artist Jasper Johns. Using wax sticks, decorating wax, and recycled magazines, you'll shape your own work on canvas by experimenting with color mixing, creating shapes, and layering wax to achieve unique effects.
9-10 am: Gallery Exploration
9:30-11 am: Art Marking Activity
