Sensory Morning at The Broad

Sensory Morning at The Broad is a free ticketed event that provides early access to the third-floor collections galleries and first-floor exhibition, Joseph Beuys: In Defense of Nature, to visitors who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience. The Broad strives to be an inclusive and accessible space that welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Reservations are required as space is limited.  

What to expect: 

• Access to the museum before public hours 
• Smaller crowds and quieter galleries
• Sensory kits with noise-reducing headphones and sensory touch items (limited availability, upon request)
• Adjustments to sound and lighting 
• An online social narrative to help prepare for your visit 
• Trained museum staff who are happy to share their extensive knowledge of the museum’s collection and make necessary accommodations

Visitors of all ages are welcome to attend.
